Welcome to Hospital Appeal website

Our aim is to build small rural hospitals in deprived and developing countries. This charity will enable the poorest to receive basic medical care; especially pregnant women and children.

Where possible to do so, we will collaborate with the local government representatives to maximise our efforts by developing any existing facilities, renovating or building completely new.  A good example of this is the ‘Chotallah Hospital’ (near Jhelum) in Punjab province of Pakistan. The previousely neglected rural dispensory site is being redeveloped to provide for the first time a purpose-built maternity unit. This is part of an on-going programme to have a fully functional hospital with A&E unit and 10 bed medical ward.
